How it works:  Each host house will represent a country of its choosing, and can enhance the party with drinks, snacks, and decorations respective of that nation.  Host houses have designated time slots, and guests bounce from host house to host house throughout the night.  A schedule will be provided by the Social Committee.  The event starts at 8PM but may be adjusted if there are a large number of host houses.

How to become a host house:  The deadline to sign up is Friday, February 16th.  Host houses can sign up individually or "pool resources" with a neighbor.  If you would like to sign up as a host house, email the social committee.

PLEASE RSVP!!  Whether you are hosting or just attending, it's important to have an accurate head count so the host houses can plan accordingly.  To RSVP (or sign up to host), email social@odonnellsquare.com or check out the neighborhood Facebook page.

Come join your neighbors for a night of holiday cheer and gift-giving to the USMC Toys for Tots program.

Please bring a new, unwrapped toy as a donation.  The Marines will be at the event to accept our donations and to take pictures

CAN YOU HANDLE THE HEAT??

Compete with your neighbors for the title of Chili Champ by bringing a batch of your favorite homemade chili.

THERE WILL BE A TROPHY for the Best Chili!  Second place will also be recognized.

The O'Donnell Square Social Committee will be providing the staging area, a heated tent, tables, bowls, spoons, and basic condiments (sour cream, cheese, chives).  You can bring your best chili and a serving spoon.  If you want to enter your chili in the contest, it must arrive promptly at 7PM.

This event is BYOB

Join your neighbors in Macon Park for an afternoon and evening of fun, food, drinks, and games.  Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided by the Social Committee.  Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

As in years past, there will be an inflatable bounce house for the younger children.

The President of Greater Greektown Neighborhood Alliance, Mr. Liam Davis, will be our special guest at this meeting.

Join your neighbors at The Yard on Saturday evening, July 22nd as the Orioles host the Houston Astros at 7:05.

The evening will begin with a party in the bullpen picnic area 90 minutes before first pitch.  Your bullpen party ticket ($27) entitles you to open bar of domestic beer, soda, and bottled water and one pass through the food line.  The food menu includes:  hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, baked beans, pasta salad, fresh watermelon, and assorted cookies.

A block of seats has been reserved for us in the LF Upper Deck.  Ticket options are:  $41 (Bullpen & Game Ticket), $14 (Game Ticket only).  Pre-payment is required.

Take a trip around the world at the 3rd Annual O'Donnell Square Around the World Party!  

Host houses represent a country of their choosing and can enhance their country pride with drinks, snacks, and festive decorations representing that nation.  Guests bounce from country to country based on assigned time slots for each house.  This event has been highly popular the last couple years, a neighborhood favorite!!
